Content & Copyright Policy

1. Overview

PinkBazaar is a business listing and discovery platform. We host third-party content (business listings, photos, reviews, page updates, products) submitted by business owners and visitors. As an intermediary, we don't create or endorse the content ourselves — but we do moderate it against the rules below and remove material that violates our policies or applicable law.

2. What Content We Will Remove

The following types of content are removed from PinkBazaar when discovered or reported:

• Illegal content — anything unlawful under Indian law or the law of the country where the listing/business is located
• Fake or fraudulent listings — non-existent businesses, duplicate listings of the same business, businesses operating without required licenses
• Copyright-infringing images or text — content the uploader does not own or have permission to use (e.g. images downloaded from PngTree, Shutterstock, Freepik, or competitors' websites)
• Trademark violations — unauthorized use of brand names, logos, or protected marks
• Adult, sexual, or pornographic material
• Hate speech, discrimination, or content promoting violence
• Personal attacks, harassment, doxxing, or sharing of private information
• Misleading medical, legal, or financial advice
• Spam, off-topic content, or links to external commercial websites in places not intended for them
• Fake reviews — self-reviews, competitor attacks, paid reviews, or reviews from people who never used the business (see Section 6 of our Terms of Use)

3. How to Report Content

If you find content on PinkBazaar that violates this policy, please report it. We accept reports from anyone — visitors, business owners, copyright holders, or affected parties.

For listings (stores, services, brands)

Use the Report Listing button visible on each listing page. Pick a reason, describe the issue, and submit. The report goes to our moderation team and we'll review it within 2-3 business days.

For reviews, page updates, products, photos

Email support@pinkbazaar.in or message us on WhatsApp at +91 88309 42816 with:

• The URL of the listing or content
• The specific item (review text, photo, etc.)
• The reason it should be removed
• Any supporting information

4. Copyright Complaint Procedure

PinkBazaar respects intellectual property rights. If you are a copyright holder (or authorized representative) and believe your work has been used on PinkBazaar without permission, please send us a notice of infringement.

How to file a copyright complaint

Send an email to support@pinkbazaar.in with subject line "Copyright Complaint" and include:

1. Your full name and contact details (email, phone, postal address)
2. Identification of the copyrighted work being infringed (URL or description)
3. Identification of the infringing material on PinkBazaar — direct URL to the listing/photo/content
4. A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized by you, your agent, or the law
5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf, made under penalty of perjury
6. Your physical or electronic signature

What we'll do

• Acknowledge your complaint within 2 business days
• Investigate the claim — typically within 5-7 business days
• If the claim appears valid, remove or disable access to the infringing material
• Notify the listing owner of the complaint and removal
• If the listing owner files a counter-notice, we will share it with you

5. Counter-Notice Procedure

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake (you do own the rights, or have permission, or the use is fair use / lawful under your jurisdiction), you may file a counter-notice.

Send an email to support@pinkbazaar.in with subject "Copyright Counter-Notice" and include:

1. Your full name, contact details, and Listing ID
2. Identification of the material that was removed
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
4. Your consent to the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
5. Your physical or electronic signature

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will notify the original complainant and may restore the content if the matter is not resolved through legal channels within 10 business days.

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

Business owners or users who repeatedly upload infringing content, post fake reviews, or otherwise violate this policy may have their listings removed permanently and their access to PinkBazaar suspended without refund. This applies regardless of whether they have a paid plan.

7. False or Vexatious Complaints

Filing knowingly false reports or copyright complaints is itself a violation of our policy and, in some jurisdictions, a criminal offence. We reserve the right to:

• Decline to act on complaints we determine to be made in bad faith
• Share complaint details with affected listing owners
• Cooperate with legal authorities if false reports cause harm

8. Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with our decision on a content removal or copyright complaint, you may pursue independent dispute resolution through a court of competent jurisdiction. This policy does not waive any rights you may have under the law of your jurisdiction.
